Keepin’ The Warm Fuzzy Feelings

This marks a year since I came back from Oz in the hospital. From that chance to live again, we have seen so many changes and met so many new friends that it seems like a whole other era of time.
 
We have gotten a chance to get close to some new friends from outside of the area. Recent among them, Jason and Sophie were simply wonderful during their short visit with us.
 
Those of you that missed spending time with them at the workshops or dances missed out on an incredible opportunity to meet and get to know two of the most genuine people Beth and I have met in our lives.
 
That is what being involved in the dance community is about. We have gotten to know our students, fellow dancers and competitors both here and across the US and have come to cherish each and every one of you. We look forward to our dances, knowing that we are helping create a happier, stronger community and bringing so many of us together to enjoy and celebrate life and each other.
 
There have been and will continue to be challenges just as there are in other areas of life. There are a few that spend time being negative and worrying about their interests ahead of the community and dancers around them. Rather than fall into that level of thought, we are determined to be a positive driving force for the good of the community and ask all of you to do the same.
 
Join us in our efforts by being a part of what we do and letting others know about our dances and classes. Be role models for dancers around you and support the people around you that do the same. We have too many things to enjoy and create for the benefit of all to spend time with negative thoughts or people.
 
Help us keep our dance community's future bright! Get involved, strive to be stronger as a dancer and as a member of the best community you will ever be a part of. This is our village. Let's make it the biggest and the best that we can!
